The older we get, the wiser we are—but the older we get, our body begins to weaken.

Once we begin to age like hitting our 40s, our body also changes. It’s an inevitable reality. Now, does that mean that we have to keep ourselves passive and just go with the process of aging? Of course not, we can do a lot to slow it and prolonged our lives. Exercising to build muscle is an essential way.

The study, published in the American Journal of Medicine, is the culmination of previous UCLA research led by Dr. Preethi Srikanthan, an assistant clinical professor in the endocrinology division at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, that found that building muscle mass is important in decreasing metabolic risk. Therefore, it is recommended to build muscle to strengthen our body from which will protect us from many health risks

It is also important to have the right exercise plan in building muscle. Usually the workouts to build muscle includes strength training, weights, reps and sets and of course aerobic workouts.  Alongside with these, there are exercises that will hurt no matter what. So, if you experience such don’t be hesitant to change and find similar one that doesn’t.  And also, don’t forget to include a clean diet with your workouts.
